Katelin Hawkins, mezzo-soprano

Katelin is a resident of Simpsonville, SC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Choral Education from Winthrop University, where she studied voice with Dr. Jennifer Hough and sang in multiple choral ensembles under the direction of Dr. Katherine Kinsey. Katelin currently works as an Elementary Music Teacher at Fountain Inn Elementary where she helps students discover joy in both choral and instrumental music settings. Katelin is a Kodály certified educator, having completed extensive studies in solfege, ear training, musicianship and conducting. This is Katelin’s seventh season with the Chorale and Herring Ensemble.
